Notriv uses SMS messaging as part of our document intake workflow to deliver one-time links to clients on behalf of attorneys and legal staff. This policy explains how phone numbers are collected, how consent is obtained, what messages are sent, and how recipients can opt out.
Phone numbers are entered into the Notriv platform by authorized attorneys, paralegals, or legal staff members on behalf of their clients. Clients do not enter their own phone numbers into the system. The submitting staff member is responsible for providing accurate contact information for their client.
Before submitting a client's phone number through the Notriv platform, the attorney or staff member must first obtain verbal consent from the client to receive an SMS message. The platform requires the submitting user to confirm that verbal consent has been obtained before the message is sent. No SMS message will be delivered without this confirmation step.
Each SMS message sent by Notriv contains:
Notriv sends only one SMS per intake request. We do not send marketing messages, recurring texts, or promotional content via SMS.
Recipients will receive a single SMS message per document intake request. Message frequency depends on how often your legal representative initiates intake requests on your behalf. Message and data rates may apply.
You can opt out of receiving SMS messages from Notriv at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. Once you opt out, you will not receive any further SMS messages unless a new consent is provided through your legal representative.
You may also reply HELP to any Notriv SMS for additional assistance.
If you have any questions about this SMS policy or need assistance, please contact our support team at charlton@notriv.com or bryce@notriv.com.
